My boyfriend is diagnosed bipolar, but refuses to get medication for it opting for more “natural” drugs, mainly marijuana. It helps, but when he’s not smoking he is almost unbearable. He’s angry and everything I do makes him uncontrollably mad, and then 30 minutes later all he wants to do is cuddle. I never know what to expect and trying to communicate with him about it only makes his anger worse. I don’t know what to do. I love him so much and want to help him through the hard times, but how do I keep myself from going crazy in the process?
