When is it best to have second baby?

When do you think is the best time to have a second baby? What age difference from your first?

My first two are 3 years 7 months apart. I think it's a perfect age gap. My older and sister and I have a similar age gap and we're very close. My youngest daughter and my new baby will be 2 years 9 months apart. Not sure how that'll be, but I'm thinking it'll be great!

How are we supposed to know what is best for you 
Everyone is different what works for one will not always work for others there are some who have irish twins others want a huge age gap 
Just do what is best for you dont worry about others

It’s best to allow your body time to heal from the first pregnancy. Different people are going to have different opinions on the best age difference for their children. I wanted my first two close together in age. My girls will be 17 months apart.

I wouldn’t want to have kids more than 2 years apart. I’ve seen how it is for others and it takes a long time before they can play together, which makes it harder on the parents and the kids.

Mine will be 18 months apart. I wanted them close. Me and my brother were 4 years apart and it’s just the 2 of us so I felt like it was too far apart personally

My daughter is 5 and I never wanted to wait so long but I’m glad I did (so far). She is super helpful and excited, and she’s starting school this year so we won’t have to pay for 2 in daycare.

Whenever you and your husband feel is best. Every family is different. I would have been fine with having two under two, but my babies will be right at 2 years apart. Some like having babies 1 year apart. Some like 5 years. It’s whatever you think you can handle and when you can get pregnant
