I asked one of my moms friends to see if she knew of any affordable rental halls to throw my baby shower at. She asked me who was throwing it for me & seemed confused that I was doing it myself. She proceeded to tell me that someone else should be doing this for me. Mind you no one offered or said they were going to nor did I expect anyone to. She then told me I shouldn’t have one if someone else isn’t hosting it since people will think I’m just asking for gifts. So I basically can’t throw my own baby shower because I don’t have enough people who love or care about me.

After this I feel so discouraged about continuing on planning. I feel like doing my registry was completely pointless now. I’m not sure what to do anymore.
