So my fiancé want to get marry till next yr to have the whole big thing he is getting deploy on May and won’t come back till maybe February or March ... how am I supposed to plan if I can’t have a date set 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️  #Army

Courthouse🤗 My fiancé and I opted out of a wedding just because the courthouse will be simple and inexpensive. Plus it takes out all the planning of what day. You can literally wake up one morning when he’s home and say, “Let’s get married today.”

Even if you set a date, it will probably change. My husband and I had to move our date twice. Just plan as much as you can generally. I’d plan a month or two after he gets back, just to give him time to readjust to normal life. It’s hard to come back from deployment, let alone deploy and come back and immediately have to plan things. Plan what you can, then set a date closer to the end of his deployment.

I’m in the same boat except i am planning a wedding. My fiancé leaves for basic may 29 and not sure what date he’s suppose to get back. he will be taking leave for 2 weeks so we can have our wedding and get everything last minute planned
