How do you feel when people say “we’re pregnant” when in actuality it is the woman who carries the child?

“we are having a baby” is okay to me...but “we are pregnant” is weird

It sounds kinda weird but at least the baby daddy’s saying it’s his 😂😂🤷‍♀️

I always thought it sounded weird lol but that's probably because I grew up in a more emotionally detached type of family where people aren't all happy and lovey dovey like that

I’d feel weird saying ‘I’m pregnant’ or ‘I’m having a baby’ if my hubby was standing right next to meI feel like I’d be insulting him in a was. I don’t see the difference in saying ‘we’re having a baby’ and ‘we’re pregnant’. With the amount of effort, time and heartache we have been through, it would be us falling pregnant. He would play an equal part in us getting to that point and I’m sure we would be going through one hell of a lot more once falling pregnant too. Based on our one failed pregnancy I’d say that emotionally WE were pregnant. Not sure if that all made sense, not the best with wording things.
