Yeast infection???

The past few days I’ve noticed I’m really itchy down there on the left side and today there was a little yellowish discharge. I also smell something that I can only describe as “cheesy” as disgusting as that sounds. I shaved a few days ago too and thought it was that but it itches where hair doesn’t grow. I usually always notice some kind of smell but I hear you normally smell down there so I disregarded it. It doesn’t hurt to pee or anything and there’s no sores down there but I’ve never had a yeast infection before and idk how to tell if this is that. Any advice is greatly appreciated 🙂
