So does everyone expect to get everything from a baby shower?

I've seen on Facebook & have personally known some people crying because they didn't get a Car seat, crib, strollers ect... All essential stuff & them having to buy it themselves ..

The way i see it buy the expensive stuff yourself actually but everything you can yourself relying on little things is different like clothes if even that.

If you made a baby willingly then u could afford to buy it yourself. Why should someone else buy it. They didn't make the baby....
