Sudden Ring Rash

For the last several weeks (I'd say since about 10 weeks), I've developed this rash on my ring finger where I wear my wedding rings. It has gotten to the point that I can only wear my rings a couple days a week and then my finger just breaks out and hurts all over again. I've been using lotion at night on them with no luck. They are both 14k white gold. I've never had this problem before. Could it be hormone related?
