As someone who's been roofied, ladies, please remain diligent and situationally aware. I was at a bar with my best friend, she and I were both drugged. We have no idea when it happened and we thought we'd kept complete control over our drinks at all times. Now we are even more careful.

Please ladies. It is not your fault if it happens to you, it's the jerkface that does it. He or she is a disgusting creep. However. Do what you can to keep yourself safe.

I believe this whole heartedly, I'm always what I consider to be VERY careful with my drinks when I go out, I never leave my drink anywhere, it never leaves my hand, and I've still been drugged, from what I assume was on the dance floor, even though the drink was IN MY HAND, someone still got something in there when my guard was down. I'm very fortunate my friends got me home but it definitely scares the dickens out of you.

Unfortunately, people are a lot more careless and trusting than they should be... But also, people are a lot shittier than we expect. It saddens me that this is such a common occurrence.
I am 100% against victim blaming, but our society has made it so that we simply cannot trust anyone, anywhere. Very sad and disturbing.
