I'm due in 3 weeks, possibly vbac but possibly another c section. This pregnancy we moved to a 2 story house, which I didn't have to deal with my previous c section. Were you able to get up and down the stairs with help, or should I get an inflatable mattress for sleeping downstairs (luckily there is a spare bedroom and bath downstairs, but we use it as a playroom so no bed in there....I'd have to just clear some toys and put the inflatable bed if necessary). My first c section recovery was NOT easy....I was not a "oh I just took Advil starting on day 3" kinda girl....more like I was popping pain pills for 2 weeks straight and still in pain, if that makes a difference (though that birth was more complicated than this one will hopefully be)
