Does your size affect your bump size?

I’m a very petite person, 5’4 and 106 pounds (healthy!).  I always assumed that a small frame would mean that I would show quickly and my bump would look really big, but I’m noticing that a lot of petite women take a long time to show and don’t get very big bumps. 
Just curious to know if there’s a correlation or if it’s all up to chance.

everybody's different but i have noticed, with your first child you will take longer to show and if your smaller it will too ( you'd think it woulda been the other way around)

I'm 5'3" and started out 115lbs. My growth is on track and baby is healthy.

My doctor told me early on that because I am short (5') and have a relatively short torso that I would probably be pretty prominent. She was not wrong. Here I am yesterday at 35 weeks. I've only gained 20 of my 'allowed' 30 pounds.

I've seen small people with huge bumps and with small bumps. I'm a larger person pregnant for the second time with a friend who's a similar size pregnant for the first time. she's much bigger than me but I'm further along. there are a lot of different factors that affect it! your hip shape, your muscles, your baby's placement...
