Scared for my bf...sick

I know this is not what this site is for but lately I've been really stressed and worried. My bf told me his mom has breast cancer. How can I support him though this? I'm really nervous and he's worried because it hereditary. It's so hard for him he's only 17. what can I do to help him? 😣😭
