Tubal ligation?

For anyone who has had it done - pain, recovery time experience ?

Answer

I did it in 2016 6 weeks PP from my third birth and second C. 
The worst part is that it’s done laparoscopically. They pump your abdomen full of gas for visual assistance. They cannot possible get all of that gas out. Bubbles get stuck in bizarre places and cause ridiculous pain. Mine got stuck under my ribs and in my shoulders. It took 9 days for all of the gas to escape and for me to get back to normal. 
Other than that, best decision ever. Sex without pregnancy consequences is awesome

I just got mine done yesterday and my son is a year old. The gas is probably the worst part and the rest to me just felt like period cramps. I'm not sure about recovery since it hasn't been long but I was up and walking around after my surgery with no issues
