Disappointing my mother

I’m a current nursing student & I told my mom what I really wanted to do was cosmetology & she laughed at me, cussed me out, told me that would never happen. I’m not happy where I am. I’m a mom to be & wife, however my parents are paying for my college. I cant see myself being a nurse but I’m being forced to do it.
