I have found almost all wives are fucking crazy, military or not! I have issues hanging out with most military wives bc they try to wear their spouse's rank. Or everything is about the frg and shit like that. We try to live a "normal" life. When my husband is home we try to leave his work at work. But I ran into the issue of "civilian" wives not understanding how our life works or why I can't make plans. Or they love to say we make so much money so why do we complain about being broke. Or it must be great to have so much time away from our spouse. I just stay to myself. I hardly leave my house.

I have a "friend" who seemed really cool at first, then the crazy started to come out.(we've only hung out once). I'd be at the store and she would show up, she'd come to my work for no reason. She has even driven by my house multiple times. She lives on post and I live off post. So there is no reason for her to drive by my house every day. When my husband is in the field she'll text me that she wants to cuddle, and wants to do other stuff. I've been told to block her on multiple occasions but I can't bring myself to because she is in a abusive relationship. My husband wants nothing to do with her, she isn't allowed back at our house because her husband has put her in the hospital twice, my husband doesn't want me involved.

Some are totally batshit crazy, I try to keep my distance from a majority but have been lucky to find a few really cool spouses to hang out with ^_^

One spouse separated from her husband and moved back home and has had him in limbo for over a year saying she wants to work things out but gets all uppity when she sees pics of my hubby myself and this battle buddy out at a BBQ. Another spouse took off back home and now calls me any time she hears that her husband has had a BBQ for the guys in the shop and demands to know who was at the BBQ and if her soon to be ex husband was flirting with anyone...I've blocked both of them
