Working until due date?

First time mom. 
I’m going to be working until 38 weeks (May 31st), due in mid-June, should I be ok?
Or should I leave work earlier?
Will baby come on time? Or later?

alot of people work up to there due date what what ever u feel comfortable with but everyone is different i heard alot of first time babie coming late but i had my son 3 weeks esrly at 37 weeks so. depends when baby is ready an how your pregnancy is doing.

I plan on having my last day of work just a few days before my due date. That could all change if she comes early, for now it is my plan though

Statistically, first time moms are more likely to go past their due dates than before. Of course, there is not a good way to know where you as an individual fit in those statistics.

I worked up until I went into labor with my first. I was definitely feeling it, but it was better than sitting around waiting for labor to happen. That’s just me though. Everyone has their own situation and preferences.

I work until it’s time to go to the hospital as well, unless doctor says need bedrest or something. Last baby I worked until the end of the day on a Monday and went straight to the hospital to be induced.

I plan (assuming my health doesn't take a turn) to work up to 38 weeks as well. I think it really depends on your ability to be comfortable, the baby's health, and the type of job you have (desk vs manual labor etc).

I’m not even going to be in our state until roughly 20 days before I’m due. Doctor doesn’t seem at all fazed by it. Between now and April 25th I have to have our house ready for baby before I leave cause when I get back, around June 6th, ima be probably to exhausted to do much of anything. If your comfortable with it and your doctor is okay with it I say go for it! The worse that can happen is ya have to stop working earlier than planned if something comes up. I’ve known women who worked up until they went into labor, it’s possible just depends on you and your pregnancy!
