I'm on birth control. My husband and I were not planning to have kids for years. But this morning I took a home pregnancy test and it came back positive. I have no idea how to tell him. Help!

Oh my goodness, I'm pregnant with our first and getting the implant after I have her and I'm terrified of this happening. We're both perfectly okay with just having our little girl, so the thought of my birth control failing scares me so much. I think the best thing you can do is just sit down and calmly discuss all your options. Accidents happen, and you and your hubby can make the best decision possible for both of you. I would lay it all out on the table, that you weren't feeling well, so you took a test and it was positive, and if you're excited, say so. For example "I know this pregnancy wasn't planned, but I'm excited it's with you, I'm excited about the idea of there being 3 of us, what do you think?" And I would take a few more tests and schedule a doctor's appointment you both can go to together, if he wants to go.
