16 week appointment - what's going to happen?

It's tomorrow. I had my blood pressure taken and did a urine sample less than a week ago (I pulled a muscle and went to get it checked out). So I kinda know where I'm at in terms of the results. I heard not much will happen and I won't get to hear baby's heartbeat so I'm a little disappointed about that bit. Other than that I heard we'd be having a chat with the midwife.

Usually they always listen to the heartbeat with a doppler They wont always do a ultrasound . 
At 20 weeks youll get your anatomy scan though

I'm in the uk & I had my 16 week appointment today. I did a urine sample, had my blood pressure taken, was asked some questions and discussed the fact it's twins because this is my first midwife appointment since I found out! And I did get to hear my babes heartbeats, for the first time! But I don't think all midwives like to do this & I know a lot wait till you're later appointments from 20-25 weeks to listen in. But not much is done at that appointment besides that if no indication for anything else! ☺️✨

At prenatal appointments they usually just answer any questions and listen to the heart beat via Doppler.

Just had mine 16 weeks today and she just listened with the Doppler for the heartbeat I was bummed.
