I went in for an ultrasound to see if I ovulated and what was previously a 17mm follicle is now a grainy 23mm follicle/cyst. The RE seemed confused about the gainyness and when I asked about what that meant, she said that we would find out through my labs. Labs showed that I was surging. Has anyone had this happen to them? I looked up ultrasound images of normal and abnormal follicles along with what they can be and my follicle seems to match endometrioma, which is essentially the same as endometriosis. I've emailed my provider with questions since she brushed off my concern in office, she really doesn't seem to keep me in the loop with anything.
