When to do acupuncture

Thought I’d try acupuncture, as I’ll be having my first iui round in the next week. Anything that can help right?! Is there a specific time range before an iui I should do acupuncture? A week? A day before?

Also, My insurance covers acupuncture so it wouldn’t hurt looking around in your area to see if it’s covered under your insurance because they can get super expensive

Accupunture is recommended the day before the iui then 24 to 48 hours after the iui. Most acupuncturists will recommend you treated at least a couple months before the iui. But depending on your medical conditions, you might be able to do it right before your iui. Definitely talk to your acupuncturist. I’ve been doing it for a year now and it’s definitely helps with stress. Goodluck on your journey!
