When does you milk come

I'm just wondering and I know everyone is different but when did your milk come & how did you know? I'm 28 weeks tomorrow and I don't feel like my boobs have gotten any bigger

My milk didn't come in until after giving birth. Most times your colostrum won't come until after you give birth then you milk comes in a couple days later.

It "usually" takes 24-48 hours after birth for your milk to come in. It's important to still let the baby suckle because that helps draw your milk out. Don't stress and be relaxed, trust your body bc stress can keep you tensed up and milk will be slower coming in. Good luck!

I am 22 weeks and leaking colostrum already.  I have a singleton who is 6 and I am currently pregnant with twins... With my six year old I had milk come a week before I had him... So, it really all just depends . Good luck

My ml usually comes in after a week. With my first I was so unprepared, started leaking, got engorged, didn't have a pump and baby had already eaten! Was totally having a first time mom panic attack. Second time around I was totally prepared. Just have a feral idea of how you plan on dealing when it comes because you can never be certain of the day

Milk comes in up to a week after birth and you produce colostrum in the mean time. A newborns stomach is the size of a finger tip and the colostrum is what they need in the first days. I've been leaking since my third trimester in preparation but it doesn't happen for everyone. My sister never leaked before birth. No worries!

I had colostrum when my first was born, because the lactation consultants at the hospital helped me get started with breastfeeding, but I didn't leak or anything ahead of time. My milk came in the day I went home from the hospital, and I was very aware of that change!
