Socks during labor?

Do I have to wear socks while in labor/ delivering my baby? I don’t want to lol
Also, what shoes should I bring to the hospital??

Nope. I just had flip flops with me.

Lol no, you don’t have to wear socks. Just bring some sort of slippers for walking to the bathroom, etc. 
Sometimes we’ll put compression stockings on, but only if you’re going to be immobilized for a long time.

I think compression socks are sometimes required if you have an epidural to help prevent clots. I didn't wear socks for mine and it was fine (it was a water birth though)
