Did Zoloft work for you? (While pregnant)

I was just wondering what some of your experiences with zoloft were. My Dr. recommended it to me yesterday because I’m pregnant with my second child, and I have an 8 mo, and I’m just feeling depressed, with no motivation etc. So I just wanted to hear about your experience before I make the decision to start it 😊 thank you

I was on Zoloft pre-pregnancy (3 months prior) and I just have this intuitive sense that without it I would be non-functioning. It was partially to help depression, partially for obsessive compulsive behaviour coming out and I am really grateful for my psych meds. I don’t advocate them to the world but it’s okay to need them.

It worked for me. Even with diet and exercise I still battle depression and anxiety in general. Pregnancy heightens it for me, so taking Zoloft while pregnant made things easier depression/anxiety wise

Yeah I stayed on during pregnancy and it was a great help. I stayed on 50mg the lowest dose, I was on 150mg pre pregnancy so I decreased. I was ok mostly and obviously emotional a lot towards the end cried every day but they let you go to 42 weeks here and it is very depressing

Get more exercise and change your diet don’t take Zoloft
