Is it okay to take First Response Prenatal Vitamins over the ones the doctor prescribe? Mine are making me so sick!

The most important thing is to make sure it has the DHA and Iron in it. If not, you NEED to take those seperately. I choked on my huge horse pill of a prenatal and was nervous after that. I switched to a gummy prenatal (which are SO delicious!) they have the DHA but no iron, so I'm taking the iron seperately. All approved by my doctor! Here's what I'm taking:
Two gummies and one iron every night before bed.

My doctor asked which prenatals I was taking and I told him first response. He said Good and didn't prescribe me any prenatals. 👍🏻 he just told me to take an iron supplement with it.

Obviously it's okay. Prenatals just make people feel sick. I haven't taken mine since the first trimester. I thought they were super gross. But I toughed it out for the first tri.

What's most important is that you take one. My prescribed one was way too strong as well, so I take a prenatal gummy and get my iron from the foods I eat. All is healthy so far, and doc is okay with it. Talk to your doctor.
