dilated cardiomyopathy

is any ladies here dealing with a pre-existing dilated cardiomyopathy and TTC or has had successful pregnancies???

we've been TTC for 3 years and I just turned 40. I already have a daughter who's 11 from a previous relationship.

Now I have a mild dilated cardiomyopathy (got it diagnosed 6 years ago) but my cardiologist and my ob/gyn doctors are now freaking out and is trying to make me change my mind on getting pregnant. they are telling me I have a high risk to die from the pregnancy.

my echos hasn't changed at all since the diagnosis .. I can't find any support about any women with this condition and has had success with their pregnancies..

I'm feeling at loss here.
