I'm so excited to say my baby boy is here! Only 4 days overdue but nothing short of beautiful. My waters broke at 2 am, but didn't go into labour on my own. So 12 hours later I was induced. After 11 hours of labour and painful contractions I had the epidural. An hour after I was told i needed a cesarean delivery. My baby boys heart beat was dropping with every contraction, was turned the wrong way and was stuck. I was so disappointed that I wouldn't be able to have a vaginal delivery but now that I look at my beautiful boy nothing else matters. At 1:50 am on Wednesday june 17th Declan came into the world at 7 lbs and 1 oz, 20.5 inches long and with a full head of hair!! I'm so in love with this tiny person and love to show him off! :) the feeling of being a new mom is indescribable!
