Depends on the person. Stainless steel works perfectly unless ur like me and ur piercings always getting infected with it then titanium is the next best thing. A bit more expensive but is worth it. But I also know someone who can’t have metal bar at all so she had to have all plastic. So it depends on how ur skin reacts to the metal 🤷🏼‍♀️
