Should I cancel my Gyno appointment since I’m on my period?

I’m on my period and my first annual gynecologist appointment is tomorrow. I’ve had to reschedule it twice for other reasons. Should I reschedule again? They’d be doing a full exam. I’ve never been to the gyno before so I don’t know the proper protocol. If you guys have any other tips regarding first visits to the gynecologist, I’ll listen!

In the old days they had you cancel but it’s not necessary any more. They can do a full exam even with Aunt Flo

I was bleeding during my last exam. They didn’t seem to care when I told them before hand. They still done everything. Call & ask before you go.

You can still go to an annual but I would reschedule so you'd be less likely to get an abnormal or invalid test result.
