I have a septate hymen (my hymen has an extra membrane down the middle) i can put tampons in, but i cannot take them out on my own because the pain is so great my mother had to so i’ve only ever used tampons twice because of the pain (and awkwardness). i seriously want to use tampons because they’re so much easier then pads from my brief experience with them. removing a septate hymen is a fairly easy process from what i’ve googled but i have uber catholic parents and i feel like they’d assume i only want it removed to have sex. if anyone have personal experience with this and has any advice i’d greatly appreciate it :-)
