Anyone ever have an STD and not know it? How did you find out? Did you have any symptoms?

yep I had 2 when I was younger. 1 was chlamydia and the other was genital warts..  I had no symthoms with chlamydia at all and with the warts they just showed up one day. it took years of treatment to get rid of the warts and I still get them 15 years later 😧 ... such a pain in the ass

I got tested when me and my SO first got together years ago just to "double check" and found out I had chlamydia and gonorrhoea ... always worth the check

Most people that have STD/STIs don’t know it and have no symptoms, which is why it’s important to get tested regularly

I had chlamydia a few years back. I didn’t have any symptoms that made me realize it. But i ended up getting a cold sore out of the blue a couple weeks after a very scary night and went to get checked  I found out that I had chlamydia and one of the symptoms was excessive vaginal discharge. Which I had. The cold sore was due to low immune system because of the chlamydia.
