Things we've said in the past.

So this is somewhat inspired by the post made about how this app may have changed our views.

How much do you think things ppl have said in the past should affect them? I know with social media we have been able to dig far into celebrities' past and use things agaisnt them even if the person has changed or apologized. Should something offensive you said years ago ruin your career if you've changed or apologized for it? Is there anything you've said in the past you now don't agree with? For example I know a lot of ppl that used to say "this is so gay" or use the R word to describe something bad, but that's never something they'd say now in their life bc they know better.

I know for myself if someone took a clip from ten years ago to use it agaisnt me now I would be mad bc I'm not the same person I was then.

Finally, would/have you boycott a celebrity for something they said years ago?
