Post-op pain management without narcotics
Hello! I'm a FTM scheduled for a c-section on April 23rd. I really want to avoid narcotic pain relief for post op pain and I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this. Narcotics make me super sick to my stomach and very groggy, and the last thing I want is any of those side effects with a new baby.
I figured Tylenol/ibuprofen/Toradol would be okay substitutions, but the nurses are really suggesting opioids. Thanks for your input!
