Breasts AND bottle feeding: help!!

I was curious as to how difficult breast feed AND bottle feeding is at the same time. I would want to breast feed but also pump and try to bottle feed. I think when family comes to visit it would be great bonding with the baby along with my husband. Breast feeding is also a great bonding experience so i really want to do both. Ive heard its so controversial and some people think you should just breast feed. But i dont know!! What do yall think? Will baby get confused and stop breast feeding or did it work for you??
