what to wear to first Ultrasound? do they make you wear a gown?

is it best to wear pants? does it not matter bc they make you wear a gown anyway?   I will be 9 weeks that day

the first one is usually vaginal. I wore a dress and just had to lift it up but if you wear pants you will probably just have a sheet over you.

how far along are you? if it's an external they'll just tuck a towel into the top of ur pants, if it's internal they'll give you a sheet to put over you'll lower half

I’ve had two so far they were abdominal and I just wore my lulus cause that’s all I’ve been wearing really since I found out I’m pregnant lol.

Both of my ultrasounds have been external. The first was at the end of 6 weeks, second was 9 weeks. I just pulled my shirt up and my skirt down a bit. They tucked a towel into my skirt so the ultrasound jelly wouldn’t get all over my clothes.

They won’t make you wear a gown. If it is a transvaginal one they will make you remove your panties and pants or just your panties if you wear a dress then put a sheet over your waist to cover you. If it is abdominal they will have you just raise your shirt up.

When i went for abdominal one i had to unzip my jeans and she put a bit of papertowel tucked in top of knickers and had to take off hoody and vaginal i had to strip of bottom half and they put a sheet/ towel over me
