Are you in support of this bill?

Tennessee is fixing to pass a new law/bill that would make it illegal to spank children in school, specifically special needs children.

I think this law is long overdue.

I can remember being in high school, working with best buddies (special education children get paired up with their peers in the main high school) and seeing the way these kids were treated. They were yanked around, smacked, yelled at, all for not being able to do tasks that were “expected” of them.

I remember our group going to the school and complaining, and then taking it to the board. I’d like to think that contributed to this new law.
