Ovulating pain

Does anyone else hurt when they ovulate? I’m ovulating and feel like I’m getting my period. It’s not exactly a cramping feeling, but my lower stomach hurts. When I sit down after standing up or bend over my stomach hurts. It happens almost every time I ovulate. Is this normal?
