what is this

okay so i had a really late period (possible CP) about 2.5 weeks ago and now I’m supposed to be ovulating. I started my birth control last sunday and now I have this dark brown blood like fluid coming out (when i wipe its reddish brown) but it also has an odd smell. does anyone know what this could be ?
