She started sitting from her tummy around 10 months, but she was sitting well if I put her to sit around 4 months.

My son started trying at 2.5 months and was able to support himself fully at 4 months. Average I believe is 6 months, but its not a bad thing if they start later. My nephew couldn’t sit up until 8/9 months bc he was so big!
