Co parenting

I have 5 kids my oldest kids have the same father he never wanted my daughter,but I wasn't going to choose to have an abortion fast forward 10 years later my daughter's father has done nothing for her but i've never asked now he wants to have a relationship with the child he didn't want.also he abused me my whole pregnancy to the point I was 7 months pregnant packed what I could and left.now he wants to see her WOW !why now?
