Older Guy “Likes” Me??

I am 15 years old and my father figure works for the army, I met one of the guys he was training and somehow we got in contact. He ended up confessing feelings for me and I confronted him about my age. He didn’t seem to mind, but I don’t want to get him in trouble (He’s just turned 22). I want him to have a nice future for himself and I know a woman that is a little older could possibly do more for him seeing as I wouldn’t really be able to see him. At the same time I’ve never been attracted to guys my age.. I think I’m just going to back off for his and my own safety! Do you guys think I’m making a good choice?
