IUD positive story

So I just got my Kyleena inserted an hour ago. And have read every single iud story on here beforehand... so many reviews of "worst pain of my life" when it got inserted. So I was EXTREMELY nervous. Like... in tears a few weeks ago trying to decide to do this. But i knew this needed to be done and other girls survived it so I can too... no matter the pain. I will agree that every person will have different experiences due to various pain tolerence, doctor, and actual bodies. But for me... a 5 foot girl who has never had sex, really crampy periods and terrified of pain... it wasnt at ALL what I thought itd be. Ive have worse cramps every month on my period 😂 Hell, I had a worse cramp last night before bed. Before my doctor did anything she told me what was about to happen so here I am doing intense breathing excersizes, freaking out as I anticipate all this pain. she tells me shes going to clamp my uterus/cervix so i will feel a cramp... literally felt nothing. Then the sounding /measuring device... I felt a quick feeling of a cramp and then it just felt like pressure, not pain. Mind you, Im still breathing like im being murdered so my doctor asks if im ok and I just ask "whats next?" and she said its done, she just had to cut the strings... and I was in disbelief and immediately relax. I did take close to 1000mg of Aspirin an hour before so idk if that helped but this is my POSITIVE IUD story for the girls out there like me and terrified of this experience. I cant guarentee you will have the same but at least you know there are good, easy insertion stories out there. most of us who have good experience wont post anything so keep that in mind!!
