TTC after D&C

My husband and I went in for our first check up and ultrasound on Thu (July 3) only to find out that I had a missed miscarriage. The baby hadn't grown past 9 weeks and there was no heartbeat. We ended up having our D&C yesterday - that was probably the hardest day of my life. The doctor told us that the sac had actually been empty (blighted ovum?), which makes it even more confusing. We are devastated and grieving as this would have been our first pregnancy, but we are hopeful and looking forward to trying again soon. Such an odd feeling though, waiting so many months for AF to be absent, and now I can't wait for AF so we can start trying again. Anyone else with this experience?
