Ok so here is the deal, I go to a weight loss clinic and have been prescribed phenteramine. I asked my previous OB if I could take it and she said it was fine (I know I’m prob going to face a lot of criticism, but oh well) I have PCOS and this is not a valid excuse but it’s all I got. It had been extremely difficult to lose weight, which is vital to my fertility journey, so that is why I started taking it. (And let me just add it did work.) I completely plan to stop, especially now that I have been referred to a fertility specialist. Even though it is prescribed I would be so embarrassed if I tested positive for meth (even if it is a false positive). Advise??? My first appointment is tomorrow.
