Is she a Bridezilla?

Question

Last week my friend posted on Instagram a meme complainin about people not bringing gifts her wedding that cost $80 a plate. She then writes a caption under the meme correcting it saying
 “actually it’s $150 a plate. YOU HAVE TO COVER YOUR PLATE PEOPLE- some people act like they’ve never been anywhere before”
I plan on giving her a good amount for her wedding but its already a destination wedding to California. Is it rude that she put that on her Instagram? 
A wedding isn’t suppose to be for a money come up it’s suppose to be to celebrate and to harp on what people may put in the card is rude. I feel like if you care that much then add to the invitation how much it costs per plate so the guests know (sarcasm)

I think I wouldn't even be going lol. I mean, really? Spend money to travel, pay for your food and buy me a present? I don't fucking think so. I didn't expect so much as a card from my guests, I just loved them all and wanted them to be there for my special day. I wanted their presence, not their presents. She sounds like a pill.

Maybe gift her with numbers of divorce lawyers. Because it seems she's getting married for the attention and the party, so I really give only 5 years for a divorce.

I wouldn’t be surprised if less people showed up. The destination plus the price per plate is ridiculous. Plus a gift? She can go fuck herself. Especially since you’d also probably have to get a hotel room unless you’re family. Yeah, that’s a bridezilla. Like I know that weddings are expensive but don’t have a wedding you can’t afford. The guests shouldn’t be partly responsible for paying off parts of the wedding 🙄

I get what she means, it’s disgusting how guests (especially close relatives) would come to a wedding empty handed (not even a Victoria’s Secret gift card) 🙄. But I don’t agree with her posting about it.

Eh. I can understand. For our wedding, it wasn’t about the gifts but we paid a lot for our guests food and yet a lot of people said they were coming and didn’t. That wasted a lot. And a few people didn’t bother to even give a card. I feel like when you go to a wedding, if you don’t bring a gift, you should at least bring a card/note and maybe cash if you can.

wow. thats insane. Im invited to a really nice expensive wedding and her sister told me to just bring a card and put $20 spending moneybfor her honeymoon in it. BECAUSE 8ts not about the gifts or money its about celebrating!
