Baby clothes?

So I was wondering, does the hospital put any clothes on the baby? Like do they give you anything?

Usually a hat and a little white shirt. Most hospitals won't allow you to dress them in their own while they're in the nursery. However, that can vary from place to place. My boys have all been born in separate states and they were all this way. I don't know if that'll be the same where I live now.

Where I live, you generally pack your own clothes to put on Bub.

Where I had my son (chandler regional-Arizona) they gave us a thing of diapers, like three button shirts for his belly button stump, two blankets (one hand maid by volunteers there which was so sweet) and a hat. Also gave us a bunch of burp clothes and the water proof sheet thing that I had laid in at the hospital and a couple things of prepackaged formula. And a belly band to help my c section recover-this was a lifesaver. They were amazing about it and pretty much forced as much stuff as my bag could take even though we had a packed diaper bag. I think because we were young they assumed we didn't have anything.

For my first I just kept him in the hospital shirts and hats they provided. For my second I brought Jammie's for him
