Who has gotten induced?

Tell me the experience please.

All four previous babies and I assume this one also... I am always between one and two cm dilated then they break my water and start pitocin.. from there it varies

With my first daughter, I was induced at 37 weeks for preeclampsia. I went in at 5 am, already dialated 2 cm. They started an IV for pitocin. Around lunch my ob broke my water and around 2pm I asked for a Demerol shot. Around 5, I got my epidural and my daughter was born at 9pm. Even with the epidural, I could feel this horrible pressure as the baby pressed done during contractions and was in tears. With my second, I was induced at 39 weeks the same way except that my labor was much faster. I didn't have Demerol and I progressed so quickly that I wasn't too overwhelmed by contraction pain. However, at the last minute I chickened out and asked for an epidural because I was scared of pushing with no meds. Again, I don't think the epidural helped at all with actual delivery. I felt terrible pressure, felt the tearing, everything.  I'm probably looking at being induced again next week but hoping I can talk my doctor into just a membrane sweep or rupture at first so I can labor mostly naturally. I don't plan on getting an epidural this time because it didn't seem to help much.
