he's not my husband but I don't want him to nor do I expect him to. 
I work 40 hours a week and he works anywhere from 70-80. 
I'm home way more than he is. so why wouldn't I do the chores around the house, besides, I like doing them, and he comes home from a long day at work knowing he can just relax, and sleep in on his days off

He works more than me/ pays all the bills. I don’t expect him to do equal amounts of housework, but I do prefer if he just picks up after himself... however this is better said than done hahhaa he’s a slob 🙄

If you phrase it that a husband should “help with chores” that is implying that the chores are 100% your responsibility. 
When my husband does chores, he’s not helping with chores. He’s just doing them, just like I do the chores.

I don’t make mine do everything. But the little things like keeping my kitchen clean and washing dishes that he used.

Anyone living in a house needs to help with chores, that's just life. It shouldn't only be on one person
