Can I practice inserting a menstrual cup while not on my period? I'm really determined to get the hang of it! I couldn't quite get it last month, but I will be abroad next month and want to have it mastered ASAP.

It shouldn't be a problem, practice makes perfect. Just don't leave it in unless you are actually on your period.

You can but when you are on your period it's easier to put one in. So you might find it a little bit uncomfortable if you try one now.

Yes, you can practice but it won't be as accurate. Your cervix moves up and down throughout your cycle so on days when you're not bleeding your cervix may be high. When you start your period your cervix may drop, which is important in finding the best cup for your body.

Yes you can. I'd practice insertion and removal in the shower on a few days leading up to my period. Just don't leave it in!

Yes you can, it will just be harder because your muscles won't be as loose as they would be on when you're on your period. So if you can't get it in right away, don't be discouraged! Also, I use coconut oil as a libe and also use the seven fold. Good luck!
