I believe demons exist. I thought it was ghosts but after everything i have been through i no longer believe that ghosts exist. I believe demons play tricks and project themselves as “ghosts”. I’m not a super religious person but i know from my own personal experience...

My mom’s house is possibly haunted, though I don’t know for certain if it is. There are several reasons why I say this: 
We moved into this house in late 2005, about a week before Thanksgiving. My mom knew the family that had lived in it before because she had grown up just two doors down and, living in a small farming community, everyone knows each other. Anyway, the parents had died years before we moved in. Oh well, no big deal. However, the woman who sold us the house (the daughter) had lived there with her brother since their parents had died. Her brother was crazy. He would always mow the lawn in an antique gas mask and a beekeeper’s suit because, as he would tell anyone who would listen, “The Nazis were coming.” Remember, this is the early 2000s. About four months before we moved in, he committed suicide in the detached garage with carbon monoxide. He gave no warning, except that he told his sister that “aliens” were coming for him. 
Fast forward to when we moved in. I was moved into the second largest room, and my parents let me paint the walls pink. I later found out that I had been moved into the guy’s room that he had stayed in when he was alive. It wasn’t until after we began remodeling the house that things started getting weird.
Footsteps could be heard going up the steps all the time. A few times, we could see shadows going through the dining room while we were all in the kitchen. Weird noises happened all the time, but my mom would say that it was our pets, or the house settling (it was an old house). I had a bright blue dollhouse in my room, and whenever I left the room, one of the dolls had been moved. It was always the same doll.
In the past couple years, though, things have gotten weirder. I spend a lot of time at home by myself because my mom works, my dad lives in his own house (my parents are divorced), and I get out of school way before my brothers. I always shut my door as a force of habit, but the doorknob will shake like someone is pulling on it, or it turns by itself. More recently, when I’ve been home alone, I’ve heard whistling or humming and footsteps going down the stairs outside my room. I still see shadows out of the corner of my eye whenever I practice piano, and on more than one occasion my brother has seen them too. My pets sometimes look up into the corners and stare, and then freak out. 
I don’t know, though. It could be anything 🤷🏻‍♀️

I haven’t ever seen one but I believe they are real

i beleive in them. our rocking chair at home moves on it's own quite often, and the lights flicker. not to mention my sister and i hear people calling our names or snoring when nobody is home lol. the toilet has flushed by its self on a few occasions as well
