Baby sleeping on belly ?

My LO learned to roll from his back to his belly today.  I put him in the crib to nap.  He was fussy but then rolled to his stomach, stopped fussing and fell asleep.  He is 3 months and 1 week.  Is it okay to leave him on his belly?  It makes me nervous.

As long as he put himself into that position then it's more than okay! Our daughter has been sleeping on her belly since she was 3 or 4 months old as well.

My sister is a PICU nurse and used to be a NICU nurse...been doing both for more than 15 yesrs. she told me that it's not bad for babies to sleep on their tummies... she said they have seen an influx of kids come in where developmentally their neck muscles aren't where they should be,because parents are scared to death to let their babies be on their tummies, ever. So long as they aren't crowded by blankets etc, let em sleep. Side note:my mom then went on to say that for all 4 of us kids she would let us sleep on our tummies, mostly in fear if we spat up In the middle of the night we wouldn't choke on our throw up.

Yes! Drs say its best to leave them in there natural sleep position. Always put him down on his back but he’s good however he gets comfy

Yes it’s okay to leave him like that. Once they have good head control and can roll themselves to the tummy they are ok leave when they roll to tummy.
